Join a high-performance corporate environment where innovation, financial control, and strategic growth are more than corporate buzzwords, they’re how business gets done. Our client is a fast-paced, multi‑entity organisation operating within a highly regulated and governance-driven environment. This Group Finance and Management Accountant role sits within the central finance function and plays a critical role in ensuring accurate financial reporting, compliance, and financial transparency across multiple business units and stakeholders. This is not your average “process invoices and disappear quietly” finance role. You’ll be involved in Group reporting, technical accounting workstreams, compliance initiatives, forecasting, finance transformation projects, and executive-level finance support. You’ll also work closely with senior finance leadership, external auditors, shared services teams, and operational finance divisions across the business. In other words: If you enjoy complexity, fast-moving environments, and solving finance problems that require more than just turning Excel off and on again, you’ll probably enjoy this. This opportunity offers strong exposure within a modern, growth-focused business where finance is viewed as a strategic partner to the organisation. Key Responsibilities Assist with Group financial reporting processes across multiple entities and business units. Participate in technical accounting and regulatory reporting workstreams. Support monthly management reporting, reconciliations, and financial control processes. Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and broader commercial finance initiatives. Participate in finance transformation projects, including automation and systems improvements. Support governance, compliance, internal controls, and audit-related processes. Work closely with Group Finance, Shared Services, operational finance teams, and external stakeholders. Assist with tax compliance and broader Group finance initiatives. Support strategic finance projects and organisational restructuring initiatives. Help drive process improvements, because “this is how we’ve always done it” is not considered a strategy. Job Experience and Skills Required CA(SA) qualification with strong academic track record. 1–5 years’ post-qualification experience. Experience within fast-paced, highly regulated, or complex corporate environments preferred. Exposure to governance, compliance, and technical reporting environments advantageous. Strong financial reporting and management accounting skills. Advanced Excel skills and strong systems understanding. Ability to manage deadlines without needing a stress ball every 14 minutes. Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills. Analytical thinker with strong problem‑solving ability and a “roll up my sleeves and graft” mindset. Competency Requirements Business acumen Collaboration Strategic thinking Problem solving Attention to detail Drive for results Adaptability Innovative thinking Stakeholder management For more information, contact: Ulrike Groenewald, Recruitment Consultant, #J-18808-Ljbffr
