Backlog ownership & prioritisation Own, refine, and maintain a clear, prioritised squad backlog aligned to business goals, customer needs, and technical constraints. Turn product strategy into well‑structured epics, user stories, and acceptance criteria, with thoughtful integration of new capabilities. Make informed trade‑off decisions to keep delivery predictable and focused. Leverage telemetry, customer signals, and usage analytics to continuously sharpen prioritisation. Drive confident, collaborative delivery Co‑lead effective 2‑week sprint cycles with Engineering Leads and Scrum Masters. Facilitate backlog refinement, sprint planning, demos, and retrospectives that foster psychological safety and continuous improvement. Remove blockers early, align stakeholders, and maintain momentum throughout each sprint. Bring the customer voice into every decision Represent MSP, SMB, and partner workflows within the squad, ensuring usability and operational simplicity are never compromised. Partner with Product Managers, Support, Customer Success, and Design to validate insights and pressure‑test ideas. Keep a sharp focus on outcomes: reliability, clarity, resilience, and customer value. Enable high quality, predictable releases Drive clarity on scope, dependencies, functional, and non‑functional requirements. Partner closely with QA and Engineering to maintain high quality standards, security, scalability, resilience and performance. Amplify frequent, reliable releases by empowering the go‑to‑market teams with excellent communication and collaboration skills. What You'll Bring Proven experience as a Product Owner (or similar) within cyber security, backup & recovery, email security, or B2B SaaS. Strong execution skills: backlog management, prioritisation, user story writing, acceptance criteria, and release coordination. Experience partnering with channel ecosystems and a solid understanding of MSP and VAR workflows. Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills across distributed teams. Familiarity with cloud hyper‑scalers (eg Azure) and delivering AI/ML product capabilities. Bonus points Experience working in a technical role at an MSP, VAR, or distributor. Experience in post‑merger product/platform consolidation. Success working with distributed teams across the UK, Ireland, North America, and South Africa.
