About the job Senior Software Engineer (FrontEnd) Responsibilities: Be involved with projects from conception to completion that is technologically sound and aesthetically impressive. Translate designs and wireframes into high-quality code. Strike a balance between functional and aesthetic design. Determine the structure and design of web pages and front-end applications. Develop the latest user-facing features using React.js. Build reusable components and front-end libraries for future use. Guide and mentor junior team members. Requirements: 6+ years experience in the field. Thorough understanding of HTML / CSS. Thorough understanding of React.js and its core principles, or similar frameworks. Thorough understanding of source control systems such as Git. Prior experience with data structure libraries, such as Immutable.js. Experience with integration of RESTful APIs into front-end applications. Knowledge of modern authorisation mechanisms, such as JSON Web Token. Familiarity with modern front-end builds, pipelines and tools. Experience with common front-end development tools such as Babel, Webpack, and NPM. Ability to understand business requirements and translate them into technical requirements. Understanding of project management methodologies, such as Agile, SCRUM and Kanban. Critical thinker and problem-solver who pays attention to detail. Ability to engage, influence, and inspire stakeholders to drive collaboration and alignment. A high degree of organisation, individual initiative, and personal accountability. Team player. Great interpersonal, troubleshooting and communication skills.
