Key Responsibilities & Technical Expertise Networking Advanced routing protocols including BGP, MPLS, route redistribution, and policy-based routing SD-WAN design, implementation, and management Designing scalable, secure, and redundant network architectures Advanced firewall administration including IDS/IPS, deep packet inspection, and zone-based firewalls Load balancing technologies such as F5, HAProxy, and NGINX Quality of Service (QoS), traffic shaping, and network prioritization Servers & Infrastructure Advanced Active Directory management including trusts, forests, schema modifications, and fine-grained policies Deep Linux administration including kernel tuning, performance analysis, and custom scripting Advanced virtualization management including HA/DRS clusters, vMotion, resource pools, and licensing Cloud and hybrid infrastructure integration including Azure AD Connect, GCP, and IaaS environments Container technologies including Docker and foundational Kubernetes knowledge Public Key Infrastructure (PKI) deployment and certificate lifecycle management Automation & Scripting PowerShell automation for Active Directory and Windows Server administration Bash and Python scripting for server provisioning and network automation Infrastructure as Code (IaC) exposure including Terraform and Ansible Security SIEM management and monitoring including Splunk, Microsoft Sentinel, and QRadar Incident response leadership including investigation, containment, and remediation Vulnerability management, patch governance, and remediation prioritization Understanding of compliance frameworks including GDPR, ISO 27001, and NIST Leadership & Governance Mentoring and supporting Level 1 and Level 2 technical staff Vendor and stakeholder management including ISPs, hardware vendors, and support providers Infrastructure capacity planning and forecasting Disaster Recovery (DR) and Business Continuity Planning (BCP) design and testing Ownership of change and problem management processes, including CAB participation and post-incident reviews Maintaining technical documentation including runbooks, SOPs, and network diagrams using Visio/draw.io Preferred Certifications / Experience L3 certifications such as CCNP, CCIE, MCSE, Azure Solutions Architect, or CISSP (advantageous) Degree or Diploma in Information Technology or related field Minimum of 5+ years’ experience in IT management or a senior technical role Strong experience in server and network infrastructure management Proven leadership experience managing or supporting helpdesk/support teams Experience in IT asset management and lifecycle control Exposure to procurement processes, vendor engagement, and supplier management Strong customer service orientation with the ability to support end-user environments effectively Experience acting as a technical lead within infrastructure or support teams #J-18808-Ljbffr
