Senior Planner The purpose of the role is to plan and manage a profitable product range based on historical, trend and customer/store analysis in line with the Company's strategy. This position will be based at our head office in Durban. Requirements Matric (Grade 12). Degree or Diploma in Supply Chain Management, Business Management or any relevant tertiary qualification. 5 years of Retail Planning experience in a Clothing Retailer. Computer literacy (Excel and MS Office) as well as experience in Dolphin. Strong numerical and analytical ability. Responsibilities Review sales performance of stores on a daily basis. Order management – ensure that orders arrive on time and are allocated to the correct stores. Partner with the Buyer to develop a product strategy. Complete pre‑allocations and action new allocations daily. Monitor and analyze performance to determine the necessary action required to maintain or improve. Provide updated trade reports during weekly meetings. Track and review stock levels required for new store openings. Review and adjust future forecasts (all KPIs) at Range level based on current and historical performance. Share revised OTB sheet with buyer if OTB has changed. Review weekly delivery flow to ensure that deliveries are spread out evenly throughout the month. Mentor and Coach Juniors in the Team. Store visits.
