Location & Hours Pietermaritzburg | Office-Based | Half-Day Position A well-established business is seeking an experienced Bookkeeper & Payroll Administrator to manage the full bookkeeping and payroll function on a half-day basis. This role is ideal for a structured, detail-driven finance professional who can work independently and take ownership of financial administration while supporting directors with accurate reporting. Key Responsibilities Preparation of Monthly Management Accounts for directors Assisting with Annual Financial Statements preparation for auditors Full processing and reconciliation of all bank accounts Managing Debtors and Creditors reconciliations Calculation and submission of VAT reconciliations and returns Processing and maintaining monthly payroll Maintaining and updating general ledger accounts Managing company petty cash Maintaining asset registers for audit purposes Providing financial and administrative support to directors Minimum Requirements Proven experience as a Bookkeeper with Payroll responsibility Strong reconciliation and financial reporting experience Experience preparing management accounts Solid VAT knowledge and submission experience Payroll processing experience High level of accuracy and attention to detail Strong organisational and time management skills Ability to work independently High level of confidentiality and integrity Suitable applications to be emailed to #J-18808-Ljbffr
