An exciting opportunity exists for an experienced and results-driven Senior Credit Controller to join a dynamic finance team. This role is ideal for an individual who thrives in a fast-paced environment and can effectively manage collections, customer relationships, credit risk, and debtors processes while ensuring exceptional service delivery.This role is based in Sandton. Key Responsibilities: Manage the end-to-end debtors invoicing process and ensure accurate distribution of invoices to clients. Oversee the preparation and distribution of debtor statements. Proactively follow up on outstanding accounts and ensure timely collections. Monitor and manage debtor ageing reports, ensuring accounts remain current and within agreed credit terms. Identify and escalate high-risk accounts and potential bad debts. Review and approve new customer credit applications and facilities. Process and review online payments, credit card refunds, and EFT refunds. Maintain accurate debtor records and create new customer accounts on the financial system. Resolve customer account queries efficiently and professionally. Prepare and analyze Accounts Receivable ageing reports for management. Build and maintain strong working relationships with internal stakeholders and customers. Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and confidentiality requirements. Assist with ad hoc finance and credit control duties as required. Job Experience and Skills Required: BCom Degree, Diploma, or similar Finance/Accounting qualification. Minimum 5 years' experience in a Credit Control, Debtors, or Accounts Receivable role. Previous experience in a senior-level credit control position is essential. Shared Services environment experience will be advantageous. Proficient in Microsoft Excel. Experience working on Sage Evolution is preferred. Protel experience will be advantageous. Apply now!
