Internal Account Manager – Duties & Responsibilities The Internal Account Manager is responsible for delivering high‑quality operational and partner support within the cybersecurity distribution business. The role serves as a key liaison between channel partners and internal teams, ensuring efficient management of partner inquiries, quotations, order processing, and post‑order support. This position requires strict adherence to service‑level agreements (SLAs), accuracy in transactional execution, and comprehensive documentation within the company’s CRM system. The role reports to the Service Delivery Manager. Serve as the primary operational point of contact for assigned channel partners, ensuring professional, timely, and consistent communication. Respond to partner inquiries in accordance with the established two‑hour SLA, maintaining service excellence standards. Prepare, validate, and issue accurate pricing quotations in alignment with approved commercial frameworks and internal processes. Manage order placement activities, ensuring completeness, accuracy, and compliance with company policies. Provide proactive and timely updates to partners regarding order status, stock availability, and estimated delivery timelines. Maintain accurate and up‑to‑date records within the CRM system, including partner opportunities, activities, and pipeline status. Qualifications & Experience The ideal Internal Account Manager has the following background and skills: Minimum 2 years of experience in account management, sales support, or a similar role. Experience in IT distribution, channel sales, or vendor management is advantageous. Familiarity with cyber‑security vendor products and processes. Strong listening and understanding skills.
