Key Roles & Responsibilities: Assist the Managed Care Actuary in monitoring and managing claims risks across medical scheme clientsEvaluate the impact of managed care interventions and report on performance trendsExtract, manipulate, and interrogate large datasets to provide meaningful insightsPresent analytical findings clearly and translate results into strategic client adviceEngage healthcare providers on behalf of, or in collaboration with, clientsBuild and maintain strong relationships with both internal and external stakeholdersProvide input on benefit design, pricing, and reserving for client medical schemesSkills & Experience: Strong analytical and problem-solving abilityAdvanced Excel capability; experience with macros advantageousStrong data manipulation and interpretation skillsSAS and/or SQL experience highly advantageousExcellent communication and presentation skillsHigh attention to detail with a strong focus on accuracyAbility to work proactively in a dynamic, fast-changing environmentStrong teamwork and stakeholder engagement capability Qualification: Degree with majors in Actuarial Science, Mathematical Statistics, or Mathematics Healthcare or medical scheme experience will be advantageous Competency Requirements: Enjoys working in dynamic environments rather than traditional actuarial settingsComfortable analysing complex problems using large volumes of dataDemonstrates curiosity and does not take results at face valueClient-centric mindset with the ability to influence and adviseStrong personal effectiveness, adaptability, and commitment Connect with us on
