Purpose: Produce quality castings that meet customer requirements in accordance with the production plan and through the effective management of all available resources. Principal Accountabilities: Implement and maintain quality control systems to meet customer requirements and to minimise scrap rate, wastage of material and downstream activities Accomplish department objectives by managing and delegating responsibilities and duties to subordinates in accordance with the production plan, evaluating outcomes and initiating and sustaining corrective action plans as required Accomplish staff results by communicating job instructions, motivating, appraising job results and initiating training and staff development initiatives Coach, develop, counsel and discipline employees as required Accomplish financial objectives by controlling material and human resources costs Ensure a safe secure and legal work environment by continually reinforcing a safe works standard and applying the principle of continuous improvement in all activities Good housekeeping Position Requirements: Qualified Moulder with minimum of 8 years supervisory experience Good interpersonal and industrial relations skills Basic Health and Safety skills and knowledge of legal responsibilities Work instruction W1 FY 01; 06; MG 01 Quality Policy SP 08; 12; 13; 14; 18.
