What you will own Full project delivery from concept and FDS through procurement, construction, commissioning, and handover. Commercial accountability for budgets, forecasts, quotations, orders, payment certificates, and invoicing. Client and stakeholder management to translate operational needs into executable solutions and secure repeat business. Safety and compliance including adherence to the Mine Health and Safety Act and company safety standards. Quality assurance through QCP and QC inspections and continuous improvement initiatives. Experience and qualifications Minimum 3 yearsâ experience in Project Management within the mining or heavy engineering sectors. Degree: BEng or BSc in Mechanical, Electrical, Metallurgical, or Industrial Engineering. Project Management qualification required. Core responsibilities and skills Manage multidisciplinary teams and subcontractors across Civil, Mechanical, Electrical, and Instrumentation scopes. Technical ownership: review designs and technical documents, compile FDS, and accept design and execution responsibility. Project planning and scheduling with robust risk management and milestone control. Commercial management: budgeting, financial forecasting, contract generation, negotiation, order management, and invoicing. Ensure safety and regulatory compliance and lead site-level safety culture. Drive quality and client satisfaction through inspections, feedback loops, and corrective actions. Take responsibility for on-time, on-budget execution and successful project handover.
