What You Bring Strong AWS experience across EKS, VPC, S3, RDS, IAM, Fargate, Lambda, CloudFront Solid understanding of AWS Well-Architected Frameworks Hands-on Kubernetes (EKS) administration Observability/monitoring skills: X-Ray, CloudWatch, OpenTracing, Grafana Experience with CI/CD tools - AWS DevOps, Jenkins Familiarity with cloud-native toolsets (Helm, Kustomize) Strong containerisation background Programming experience in Python, Go, Java, or JavaScript Solid Linux competency Your Responsibilities Manage and build CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps) Own Kubernetes administration : ingress, networking, RBAC Enhance observability and monitoring (SLOs, SLIs, SLAs, alerting) Use IaC tools such as Terraform, CloudFormation, Crossplane Oversee release management and deployment best practices Skills & Experience We Value AWS Associate certification or extensive AWS experience Kubernetes Application Developer certification or equivalent practical exposure Strong Kubernetes admin skills Solid hands-on experience with Terraform / CloudFormation / CDK GitOps experience (ArgoCD, Flux, Helm, Kustomize) Monitoring experience: Prometheus, Grafana, CloudWatch Reference Number: GZ60876 This is a permanent role , based in Johannesburg , offering a CTC of R1m per annum , negotiable based on experience and ability.
