Overview Job Description: Spa Therapist CPT Location: City of Cape Town, Fish Hoek, Simon's Town Job Type Permanent, Full-Time hours Primary Industry Travel, Leisure, Tourism and Hospitality Secondary Industry Travel, Leisure, Tourism and Hospitality Responsibilities Provide spa treatments to clients based on their individual needs and preferences Perform various massage techniques, body treatments, and facials Maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards Keep up-to-date records of client profiles and treatment notes Offer advice to clients on skincare and wellness practises Promote spa services and products to clients Required Qualifications Recognised qualification in Beauty Therapy or Spa Therapy Valid certification in massage therapy Excellent interpersonal and communication skills Ability to work effectively in a team environment Demonstrated passion for the spa and wellness industry Education Minimum of a Level 3 Diploma in Beauty Therapy or equivalent Experience Previous experience working as a Spa Therapist Knowledge And Skills Knowledge of various spa treatments and techniques Understanding of skincare products and their benefits Ability to customise treatments based on client needs Strong customer service and sales skills Preferred Qualifications CIDESCO or CIBTAC certification Experience in a luxury spa environment Additional certifications in specialised treatments Working Conditions Work in a spa setting with varying temperatures and lighting May require standing for extended periods and lifting/moving equipment Flexible working hours, including weekends and holidays Opportunity for career advancement and professional development Seniority level Entry level Employment type Full-time Job function Other Industries Hotels and Motels We’re looking for a dedicated Spa Therapist to join our team.
