An exceptional opportunity is available for an experienced Restaurant Manager to join a prestigious luxury hospitality environment in the Stellenbosch region. The successful candidate will oversee the efficient operation of a high-end dining venue, while also supporting related guest service areas within the property. Working closely with the Food & Beverage leadership team and Head Chef, the Restaurant Manager will ensure world‑class service delivery and an unforgettable guest experience. Key Responsibilities Coordinate and oversee the daily operations of the restaurant and associated service areas Deliver exceptional guest service and ensure high levels of guest satisfaction Handle guest queries, feedback and complaints efficiently and professionally Collaborate with the Sommelier on wine and beverage offerings and recommendations Ensure wine lists and beverage offerings remain accurate and up to date Manage restaurant staff including recruitment, training, rosters and overtime management Oversee stock purchasing and ensure inventory is managed within budget Maintain strong cost control and stock flow processes Ensure compliance with hygiene, health and safety standards Work closely with kitchen and service teams to maintain seamless operations Requirements Grade 12 with a relevant hospitality or food service qualification preferred 2–3 years’ experience as a Restaurant Manager within a luxury or fine dining environment Wine certification or strong wine knowledge advantageous Previous experience in high‑end or award‑recognised restaurants advantageous Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Comfortable interacting with distinguished clientele Strong food and wine knowledge Exceptional attention to detail Ability to work under pressure in a fast‑paced environment Strong planning, leadership and organisational skills Professional, reliable and adaptable approach #J-18808-Ljbffr
