Bokpoort CSP is a concentrated solar power thermal energy power plant, located near Groblershoop in the Northern Cape province of South Africa. The project was procured pursuant to the Renewable Energy Independent Power Producer Procurement Programme initiated by the South African Department of Energy. Scope of Work The Contract Administration Officer is responsible for managing, reviewing, and maintaining all contractual documents throughout their lifecycle, including contractor management where required. This role ensures that contracts are accurate, compliant, and aligned with company policies and legal requirements. They will work closely with internal departments, suppliers, clients, and legal teams to support efficient contract execution and ongoing contract management. Key Responsibilities Contract Management & Administration Prepare, review, and administer contract documents, including service agreements, purchase agreements, amendments, NDAs, and work orders. Ensure all contracts comply with legal, regulatory, and company policy requirements. Maintain organized contract records and track contract statuses, expiration dates, and renewal timelines. Coordinate the approval process for contracts, ensuring timely sign-off by relevant stakeholders. Risk & Compliance Identify and highlight contractual risks, inconsistencies, or deviations from standard terms. Work with legal teams to clarify terms, mitigate risks, and resolve issues. Ensure that contract terms and obligations are communicated to relevant internal teams. Stakeholder Support Serve as a central point of contact for contract-related queries from suppliers, clients, and internal teams. Support project managers, procurement, and finance teams with contract interpretation and compliance. Coordinate changes, variations, and contract modifications as required. Reporting & Documentation Maintain accurate contract dashboards, logs, and reports. Monitor vendor or contractor performance against contractual obligations. Assist in internal and external audits by providing required contract documentation. Required Qualifications & Skills Diploma or degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain, Legal, or a related field. 2–5 years of experience in contract administration, procurement, or legal documentation. Experience in construction, engineering, energy, or manufacturing sectors (advantageous). Technical Skills Strong understanding of contract terminology and principles. Proficiency in MS Office and contract management software. Familiarity with procurement processes (advantageous). Core Competencies Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
