Key Responsibilities: Advanced Technical SupportResolve high-level escalations from Tier 1 and Tier 2 engineers. Perform deep-dive diagnostics and root cause analysis for recurring or critical issues. Provide expert-level support across infrastructure, networking, cloud, and security platforms. Client Consulting & StrategyConduct technology reviews and roadmap planning sessions. Recommend solutions that align with client goals, budgets, and compliance requirements. Project LeadershipLead the implementation of complex IT projects (e.g., migrations, upgrades, cloud deployments). Collaborate with project managers and stakeholders to ensure successful delivery. Document and hand over solutions to support teams with clarity and precision. System Design & ArchitectureDesign scalable, secure, and efficient IT environments for clients. Evaluate and recommend new technologies and tools. Maintain documentation and diagrams for client environments. Mentorship & Knowledge SharingMentor junior and mid-level engineers, fostering a culture of learning and growth. Contribute to internal knowledge bases and SOPs. Lead internal training sessions and technical workshops. Monitoring, Risk & ComplianceOversee infrastructure health, backup integrity, and security posture for key clients. Identify and mitigate risks proactively. Ensure compliance with industry standards and client-specific requirements. Skills & Attributes: Must Have: Expert-level knowledge of Microsoft 365, Azure, networking, virtualisation, and security. Strong experience with firewalls, switches, backup systems, and cloud platforms. Excellent communication and consulting skills. Ability to translate technical concepts into business value. Proven experience leading IT projects from design to delivery. Professional appearance, punctuality, and attention to detail. Valid driver’s license and reliable transport. Passion for technology and a proactive, client-first mindset. Knowledge of backup solutions like Veeam and other backup applications (configuration, use and troubleshooting). Experience with remote support applications and techniques (e.g. VPN, RDP and Remote Management Tools). Advanced knowledge of Active Directory. Experience with logging and following up calls with external suppliers and service providers. Excellent knowledge of hardware components and hardware troubleshooting procedures (Servers and Networking). Working knowledge of server hardware systems such as RAID. Good working knowledge of all Microsoft Office applications e.g. Word and Excel. Good knowledge of TCPIP networking is required. Good knowledge of server software and systems. Experience with configuring routers and wireless access points. Nice to Have: Certifications such as Microsoft Azure Expert, M365 Enterprise Admin, Cisco, Fortinet, ITIL, etc. Experience in a similar Consulting role.
