This role is suited to a detail-oriented Technician with hands-on repair experience who can work within defined procedures and quality standards. The position involves both diagnostic and repair responsibilities, ensuring that devices are restored to a safe and functional condition within a controlled scope of work.Key Responsibilities: Perform incoming inspections and confirm repair requirements Conduct minor repairs on endoscopes, including external and semi-external components (e.g., bending rubber, distal caps, and lenses) Ensure that all repairs maintain device integrity and leak-tightness Perform in-process inspections and functional testing Accurately document repairs, parts usage, and outcomes Adhere to quality standards, SOPs, and regulatory requirements Follow all safety, PPE, and environmental procedures Identify when repairs exceed minor scope and escalate accordingly Support quality and turnaround time targets Job Experience & Skills Required (Ideal Candidate Profile): National Diploma in Biomedical Engineering, Clinical Engineering, or equivalent qualification OR 25 years' relevant experience Certification in endoscope inspection and minor repair (preferred) 23 years experience in endoscope repair or similar precision equipment environment Experience working with SOPs, repair protocols, and quality systems (ISO 13485 advantageous) Strong manual dexterity and attention to detail Ability to diagnose faults within a limited repair scope Proficiency in MS Office and service/repair systems Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in a fast-paced setting Good communication skills and ability to work within a team If you are interested in this opportunity, please apply directly.
