This is a unique opportunity to take full ownership of the kitchen operation and play a pivotal role in the launch and success of an exciting new dining concept. Package & Benefits Salary: Negotiable depending on experience Location: Westlands, Nairobi Live‑out position Start Date: June / July Opening Date: 1 October Key Responsibilities Lead and fully manage the kitchen operation as the sole senior culinary leader Recruit, train, and manage a team of 6–8 kitchen staff Develop and execute a high‑end menu with a strong focus on Italian cuisine Ensure consistent delivery of exceptional food quality and presentation Oversee kitchen standards, hygiene, and food safety compliance Manage stock control, ordering, and cost efficiency Support menu planning for breakfast, lunch, and dinner service offerings Primarily oversee and be present for dinner service operations Minimum Requirements Proven experience as a Head Chef in a high‑end or fine dining environment Strong background in Italian cuisine Ability to lead and build a kitchen team from the ground up Excellent organisational and leadership skills Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality Ability to perform under pressure in a fast‑paced environment Experience in restaurant openings highly advantageous This is an exciting opportunity for a passionate culinary professional to shape and lead the kitchen of a new luxury restaurant in Nairobi, delivering world‑class dining experiences. #J-18808-Ljbffr
