An established and premium FMCG brand is looking for a driven and well-connected On-Trade Sales Executive to take ownership of a key Cape Town territory. This is a field-based role suited to someone who understands the on-trade environment and knows how to build strong relationships across bars, restaurants, and hospitality venues. You’ll be responsible for driving sales, increasing brand visibility, and executing impactful in‑venue activations. Territory Coverage: Southern Suburbs (Rondebosch through to Simon’s Town) and West Coast (Observatory, Century City through to Melkbosstrand) Key Responsibilities Drive sales growth and increase market share within the on‑trade channel Build, manage, and grow relationships with key accounts Identify and unlock new business opportunities within your territory Increase brand visibility, placements, and menu listings Negotiate pouring rights and in‑venue agreements Plan and execute promotions, activations, and campaigns Monitor competitor activity and respond proactively Manage assets within accounts and ensure brand standards are upheld Analyse sales performance and track key KPIs Minimum Requirements Minimum 3 years’ FMCG sales experience Strong on‑trade exposure (bars, restaurants, hotels, nightlife venues) Experience within the liquor or premium brands space highly advantageous Proven track record in field sales and relationship management Valid driver’s licence and own reliable vehicle Willingness to travel daily within the territory What We’re Looking For Strong understanding of the Cape Town on‑trade market Existing relationships within the hospitality industry (advantageous) Confident negotiator with a commercial mindset Able to work independently and manage a territory effectively Comfortable with reporting, planning, and performance tracking Professional, well‑presented, and a strong brand ambassador Behavioural Fit High energy, resilient, and self‑motivated Results‑driven with a proactive approach Highly organised with strong attention to detail Disciplined and accountable in a field‑based role Flexible and willing to work evenings and weekends when required Important Note This role requires strong on‑trade experience.
