Built on a foundation of strong values and long‑term relationships, they are seeking seasoned professionals to strengthen their existing product offerings (grains, feed, coal, metals & minerals, nuts, proteins). You will be: Actively driving PnL and capitalise on physical back to back trading opportunities. Keeping track of local and regional market trends, including pricing, supply‑demand dynamics, to influence trading decisions and provide commentary to senior management. Negotiating sales contracts, securing optimal terms that align with the company’s profitability goals. Leveraging expertise of South African market dynamics to identify profitable trading opportunities. Analysing market data and providing insights to support decision‑making in pricing, purchasing, and sales strategies. Ensuring compliance with local regulations and company policies. We would love to speak to you if you have: 3-5+ Years’ Experience in a trading or sales position with physical commodities. Strong experience in the trading of commodities, with a strong understanding of market dynamics. High‑level negotiation and communication skills, with a track record of successful contract negotiations. Proficiency in using market analysis tools, and an ability to translate insights into trading strategies. A well‑developed network and contacts within your expert field.
