What You Will Be Doing Develop and manage annual salary budgets, short-term and long-term incentive plans (STIP & LTIP). Oversee pension fund surplus utilization and ensure compliance with legislative requirements. Design and maintain reward strategies, retention programs, and technical ladders to support capability development. Manage Executive Remuneration and prepare & present proposals to the Remuneration Committee (REMCO). Ensure effective governance of Employee Share Ownership Plans and benefit funds. Lead policy development for retirement, medical, insured benefits, and reward programs. Build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including Discovery Health, Momentum Life, Alexander Forbes, and regulatory bodies. Market Analysis – Conduct job evaluations and market benchmarking to ensure pay is both internally equitable and externally competitive. Compliance and Reporting including internal and external Audit requirements – Ensure all program and procedures comply with current laws and prepare necessary statistical and regulatory reports. What You Have Done Baseline NQF Level 7 Degree in Accounting/ Finance 10 years experience managing the Finance/ Compensation function (operating at Senior Management level) 5 years HR Reward experience. Strong knowledge of Labour Acts (LRA, BCEA, EEA) and Employee Share Schemes. Advantageous Challenges in the Role Building constructive relationships to foster industrial harmony. Regulatory and legislative changes that constantly require continuous compliance.
