Location Witbank, Mpumalanga Salary Package Basic Salary: R32 500 Cellphone Allowance: R1 850 Monthly Commission: R7 000 Company Vehicle Provided About the Role My client is seeking a skilled and driven Technical Specialist to provide expert technical support, maintenance, troubleshooting, and commissioning of electronic safety and control systems within the mining industry. The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring product reliability, customer satisfaction, and operational excellence across client sites. Key Responsibilities Conduct root cause analysis (RCA) and implement corrective actions for system and product failures Perform technical audits, diagnostics, servicing, and maintenance on my client's electronic systems Support installation and commissioning of new systems on-site Provide technical support to clients, technicians, and operational teams Deliver training and mentorship to technicians, operators, and end-users Ensure compliance with engineering standards, safety regulations, and S21 requirements Maintain accurate technical reports and documentation Minimum Requirements Qualified Artisan (Red Seal) in Electrical, Auto Electrical, or related trade 3–5 years' experience within electronics/electrical systems, preferably in mining or heavy industry Strong understanding of electronics, wiring, and mining safety equipment Valid Code 8 or 10 driver's licence Medically fit for mine site work Strong communication and problem-solving skills Computer literate with MS Office experience Advantageous N6 or National Diploma in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering ERP system knowledge Ideal Candidate The ideal candidate will be technically strong, hands-on, customer-focused, and comfortable working in mining environments while supporting multiple operational teams. #J-18808-Ljbffr
