Mission / Purpose of the Role The Sales Development Representative will drive growth by generating a high‑quality sales pipeline, executing a structured consultative sales process, and building strong client relationships across priority markets. This role combines strategic market research, outbound lead generation, client engagement, and solution demonstration. The position is responsible for maintaining rigorous CRM discipline, delivering accurate reporting, and ensuring seamless coordination with marketing, product, and leadership teams. Ultimately, the role ensures that revenue targets are achieved by converting qualified leads into long‑term, satisfied clients through a high‑quality, data‑driven, and client‑centric sales approach. 12–18 Month Mission Outcomes ("What Success Looks Like") Build a robust, qualified sales pipeline across priority markets: Pipeline value exceeds annual sales target within 12–18 months. Identify and qualify high‑potential leads through research and outbound outreach: Consistently generate qualified leads meeting weekly/monthly targets; high lead‑to‑opportunity conversion rate. Develop strong client relationships and understanding of business needs: Positive client feedback; retention and engagement metrics; repeat business and upsell opportunities secured. Conduct effective product demos: High demo‑to‑deal conversion rate. Maintain accurate CRM records and reporting: CRM data updated; forecasts and reports submitted on time and accurately. Collaborate cross‑functionally to optimise sales strategies: Feedback from marketing, product, and sales teams indicates improved outreach effectiveness and alignment. Key Accountabilities Market Research & Lead Generation: Conduct in‑depth research to identify business opportunities aligned with company strategy. Conduct outbound calls to potential clients using a provided script and calling tools. Generate qualified leads and follow up consistently to drive business opportunities. Maintain up‑to‑date knowledge of product offerings, market trends, and competitor activity. Consistently generate qualified leads meeting weekly/monthly targets with high lead‑to‑opportunity conversion rate. Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with prospects and clients, understanding their business pain points. Follow up with warm leads and engage in nurturing campaigns for future opportunities. Manage post‑sale relationships and upsell opportunities. Positive client feedback; repeat business and upsell opportunities secured. Reporting & CRM Management: Maintain daily/weekly call quotas; document calls, leads, and outcomes. Track and report key metrics: number of calls, leads generated, demos booked, and closed deals. Collaborate with the sales team to fine‑tune outreach strategies and messaging. Forecasts and reports submitted accurately and on time; improved outreach effectiveness based on team collaboration.
