General Service /Clinical Waste Driver required for Transport Department NHS Grampian The position involves delivery and pickup of stores and laundry, and may also involve the daily pickup of clinical waste from numerous collection points. A full driving licence for Cat C1 is required (Cat C desirable). Driving experience is preferred and DR10 is not accepted. The role requires the ability to work to a high standard unsupervised and to handle manual tasks. Job responsibilities include manual lifting, loading and unloading of cages, waste bags, and containers daily. Transport the collected load to appropriate drop‑off or pickup points, stock the vehicle for daily runs, clean and maintain the vehicle, and perform daily checks. All required paperwork must be completed accurately. The successful candidate must be punctual, reliable, well presented, and possess good face‑to‑face communication skills.
