Responsibilities Coordinate, arrange and confirm all group logistics or requirements pre-arrival, during stay and post-departure. Collect information and create detailed itineraries or working documents for all groups and events, ensuring all operations departments are updated on requirements and changes. Host clients for familiarisation trips and site inspections, educating them on the lodge facilities, offerings, and capabilities. Drive new leads and convert group bookings. Promote and actively sell lodge activities to increase revenue while enhancing guest satisfaction. Maintain strong relationships with high‑producing PCOs, agents, corporate clients, and other trade partners to ensure their needs are fulfilled. Qualifications Clear criminal record; excellent employment track record – references will be verified. Excellent English fluency & literacy; international language skills are an advantage. Computer literate; hospitality or event management diploma from a reputable institution or academy. Relevant experience as a MICE Manager, Banqueting Coordinator, or Guest Relations Manager in a 5‑star environment. Well informed about current hospitality trends, changing guest needs and behavior, and developments in other industries. Creative minded with meticulous attention to detail in event logistics planning. Strong people skills and diplomacy in handling complaints. Highly presentable with balanced emotional intelligence. Flexibility in working hours (evening and weekends) while hosting events. Benefits and Remuneration Basic monthly remuneration negotiable DOE and qualifications. Accommodation (partly furnished) and own bathroom; 2 meals per day from the staff canteen; provident fund; medical aid membership (employee contribution); uniform and laundry provided. Complimentary staff shuttle service for shift transport, with pick-up before each shift and drop-off after each shift for staff living within approximately 20 km of the property.
