Client Service Consultant (Non-Sales – Corporate Paypoints) (6 Month Fix Term contract) – Eastern Cape (Gqeberha) Key Purpose The Client Service Consultant will provide dedicated, service-focused support to identified strategic and high-volume corporate paypoints. The role is responsible for enhancing service delivery, supporting members, employers and brokers, and ensuring effective resolution of queries during periods of increased operational demand and organisational change. This is a non-sales operational service role focused on improving client experience, enhancing service responsiveness and supporting the respective consulting and management teams. Role Overview The Client Service Consultant operates as a roaming, onsite support resource across identified paypoints. The role provides hands‑on assistance with membership, billing, and administration‑related queries and ensures consistent service delivery across all assigned sites. The role strengthens stakeholder engagement, improves query resolution efficiency, and supports operational continuity in high‑demand environments. Key responsibilities Onsite Servicing and Support Provide onsite support at identified strategic and high‑volume paypoints according to an agreed servicing schedule Assist members with benefit, membership, billing and administration‑related queries Support walk‑in and scheduled engagements at employer sites Ensure consistent and professional service delivery across all assigned locations Stakeholder Support (Employers & Brokers) Act as a service support point for employers and brokers Assist with query follow‑up, resolution tracking, and communication of outcomes Support continuity of service through reliable and responsive interactions Query Resolution and Escalation Management Investigate and resolve member, employer and broker queries within agreed timelines Escalate unresolved or complex matters through appropriate internal channels Monitor and resolution with billing processes and escalation in billing and discrepancies Monitor escalations through to final resolution Provide feedback on outcomes to relevant stakeholders Operational Support Provide additional service capacity during periods of increased demand or organisational change Assist in managing elevated volumes of service‑related queries Identify recurring issues and elevate trends to management Support operational continuity across impacted paypoints Member Education and Engagement Conduct member education and information sessions where required Support employer onboarding and service communication activities Improve understanding of benefits and processes to reduce repeat queries Reporting and Feedback Provide regular feedback on service trends, risks, and recurring issues Report on onsite activity, query volumes, and resolution outcomes Highlight service gaps and improvement opportunities Qualifications and Experience Matric (Grade 12) or equivalent 2–3 years’ experience in the healthcare or medical scheme environment Experience in member, employer, or broker service environments Strong administrative and query resolution capability Proficiency in MS Office and basic excel Note This role does not require FAIS accreditation, RE examinations, or any financial advisory authorisation.
