Job Description: The exciting opportunity exists for high-performing individuals in our workshop with strong technical skills and a passion for delivering exceptional quality workmanship to our workshop customers. Education and Experience: Grade 12/Matric MERSETA recognized qualification Valid driver’s license Minimum of 3 years’ post qualification experience, preferably in a franchise dealership environment Experience with Hyundai or similar brands will be advantageous Computer literate Strong electrical and mechanical diagnostic ability Experience in the use of OEM diagnostic tools Responsibilities: Perform routine maintenance and servicing on vehicles according to manufacturer standards Conduct accurate diagnostics on mechanical and electrical faults using OEM diagnostic tools Repair and replace faulty components, including engine, transmission, braking, and electrical systems Carry out vehicle inspections and identify potential issues before they become major problems Ensure all work is completed within specified timeframes and meets quality standards Maintain detailed and accurate job cards and service records Test drive vehicles where necessary to confirm faults and ensure successful repairs Follow all safety procedures and maintain a clean, organized workspace Communicate effectively with service advisors regarding vehicle status and additional repair needs Stay up to date with the latest technical developments, especially related to similar brands Assist team members when required and contribute to a positive workshop environment Ensure tools and diagnostic equipment are properly used and maintained Deliver high levels of customer satisfaction through quality workmanship Competencies: Self-motivated Ability to work under pressure and to meet deadlines Must have the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
