Senior Mechanical Design Engineer Senior Mechanical Design Engineer – You will play a critical role in developing mechanical components and assemblies across a range of vehicle platforms—from concept through to production. This is a high‑impact role with substantial responsibility and the opportunity to influence the design direction of innovative vehicle systems. Key Responsibilities Lead mechanical design activities for vehicle systems and sub‑assemblies using CAD tools (e.g., CATIA, NX, and SolidWorks) Translate performance and functional requirements into robust, manufacturable mechanical designs Conduct tolerance analyses, material selection, and design‑for‑manufacture reviews Collaborate with cross‑functional teams including Electrical, Systems, and Manufacturing Engineers Provide technical mentorship and guidance to Junior Engineers Support prototyping, testing, and validation activities Essential Requirements Bachelor's Degree (or higher) in Mechanical Engineering or a related field Minimum of 7 years of mechanical design experience, with a strong background in vehicle design Proficiency in 3D CAD modeling and design documentation Solid understanding of mechanical systems, manufacturing processes, and materials Excellent problem‑solving skills and the ability to manage complex design challenges Experience working in a regulated industry (e.g., automotive, aerospace, and defense) is preferred #J-18808-Ljbffr
