Position Summary Tangent International is urgently seeking a highly capable Regional Manager to lead and oversee wireless telecom rollout activities in Johannesburg. This role is critical to ensuring successful project execution across MTN or Vodacom environments, driving team performance, and maintaining high delivery standards. Detailed Job Description As the Regional Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring smooth coordination across planning, implementation, and acceptance phases for wireless network projects. You will manage a team of 15+ members, ensuring effective task execution, accountability, and high-quality delivery. Your role will require strong leadership, exceptional communication, and the ability to maintain relationships across operational teams and external stakeholders. This position demands assertiveness, results-driven thinking, and strong project governance to drive timely and successful completions in a dynamic telecom environment. Key Responsibilities Lead and manage a team of 15+ project resources, ensuring productivity and performance. Oversee wireless rollout activities including planning, implementation, and acceptance. Ensure project milestones and deliverables are met according to MTN/Vodacom standards. Provide leadership, mentorship, and performance supervision to the regional team. Coordinate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to resolve issues and maintain progress. Implement project controls to track progress, mitigate risks, and ensure accountability. Build and maintain strong customer and partner relationships. Required Qualifications & Skills Minimum of 5 years’ experience working on MTN or Vodacom wireless projects. In-depth knowledge of rollout procedures: planning, implementation, and acceptance. Proven leadership experience managing teams of at least 15 members. Strong coordination, communication, and stakeholder management abilities. Results-driven, assertive, and capable of enforcing project discipline. Must be based in South Africa. Nice-to-Have Skills Experience with multi-regional telecom project execution. Strong reporting and documentation abilities. Familiarity with vendor or operator governance processes. Ability to quickly identify systemic issues and propose corrective actions. Conflict resolution and advanced people-management skills.
