This role will be responsible for the accounting function as well as providing relevant support and decision‑making information to other functions within the business for further optimisation and efficiency. Key performance areas Preparing Monthly and Quarterly Management Accounts Assisting Financial Manager in preparation of Budgets and Forecasts Take full responsibility for the general ledger through to the trial balance Analysis of variances and to spot trends and improve company performance Preparation of daily, weekly and monthly cash forecasts Liaise with Department Managers to prepare meaningful and value-added variance analysis Loading, authorizing and approving bank payments Sales by product and user analysis Compile ad-hoc reports as requested Monthly reconciliations of balance sheet line items Manage the audit process with the external auditing firm Payroll management & administration experience required Working Experience with various banking platforms ERP Systems: Xero, Microsoft Dynamics, Sage Online, QuickBooks Qualifications And Experience BCom/BAcc Finance/Accounting degree SAICA/SAIPA/ CIMA membership or completed article clerkship Experience within the Tech or Hosting environment an advantage Competencies And Skills Strong interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills Excellent written and verbal communication skills Advanced Excel skills Excellent analytical abilities Excellent delivery standards Ability to meet deadlines Basic understanding of API, AI & SQL Strong attention to detail Assertiveness and ability to influence #J-18808-Ljbffr
