Job Type: Permanent Job Location: Gqeberha Minimum Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in Technical, Environmental, or Science discipline. 4–7 years of professional experience in EHS Management. Strong expertise in EHS principles, compliance, and operational practices. Proven leadership skills with experience driving change and managing project teams. Excellent communication and influencing abilities, including across international stakeholders. Strategic thinker with a commitment to continuous improvement and innovation. Ability to collaborate effectively with national and global teams. Flexibility to travel frequently between two plant locations in South Africa. Key Performance Areas: Lead and inspire EHS teams across two South African plants, embedding our Safety First culture at every level. Report on EHS performance nationally and internationally, ensuring alignment with global strategies. Implement and optimize EHS programs that meet both local compliance requirements and global standards. Drive risk management processes including hazard analysis, incident investigations, and emergency preparedness. Deliver impactful EHS training and empower operations teams to own risk reduction. Act as the key contact for internal and external stakeholders, including global partners and regulatory authorities.
