About this Role The position of Senior Analyst for Fund of Funds at responsAbility Investments AG involves a unique opportunity to collaborate with senior professionals in the Private Equity Fund of Funds (FoF) team. The role is based in Cape Town, South Africa, and includes extensive responsibilities related to both portfolio supervision and new business acquisition. Candidates will partake in a multi-disciplinary investment team with global outreach and be involved in the comprehensive investment process from assessment to execution. Furthermore, the role demands active engagement in due diligence, portfolio monitoring, and various investment-related tasks. Responsibilities Assess business plans and pitch books. Model financial projections and investment returns. Conduct benchmark analysis. Participate in due diligence work streams for prospective investments, covering financial, commercial, tax, and legal aspects. Support fund structuring and fund‑raising activities in collaboration with internal and external stakeholders. Monitor and support portfolio investments. Build and maintain financial projections and valuation models. Conduct various tasks related to product reporting, market research, marketing efforts, and special projects. Requirements Excellent academic credentials with at least a bachelor’s degree from a recognized university. 5 years of relevant work experience in investment banking, private equity, venture capital, or management consulting. Experience in a Fund-of-Funds setting is a strong advantage. Proficiency in financial modeling and relevant experience. Exceptional analytical, interpersonal, and communication skills. Business fluency in written and spoken English; other languages are a plus. Experience in emerging markets is beneficial. Willingness to travel as required.
