Job Title: Quality ManagerLocation: Isando (Onsite) Purpose of Role: To ensure quality, growth and meeting of the objectives set on the policy deployment; services meet established standards and regulatory requirements. Key Responsibilities Safety: 100% commitment to zero-harm behaviour, supporting a world‑class safety culture. Technical: Implement and maintain ISO 9001 quality management systems at the plant and suppliers; ensure accurate product, process, and system audits in compliance with QMS requirements. Supplier Quality Assurance: Conform ISO requirements; manage safety and housekeeping to meet company and OHS Act standards. Quality Control: Liaise with internal and external customers to resolve quality‑related problems; set objectives and detailed action plans to achieve results. Budget & cost centre: Responsible for budgeting and expense control; report daily scrap rates and provide monitoring controls to the plant manager. Reporting: Produce daily and monthly reports to senior management on key performance indicators. Continuous Improvement: Analyse performance, implement corrective action, manage customer complaints, warranties, and quality performance indicators; improve product quality and systems. Team management: Oversee performance of subordinates; train, mentor, and conduct performance reviews; drive succession planning. QMS development: Design and continuously improve the quality framework in line with customer expectations. Qualifications Minimum B-Tech degree in Quality Management (Master’s degree an advantage). Minimum 5 years of experience as a Quality Department Manager in a complex manufacturing environment. Minimum 5 years’ experience in press tools or assembly process. Minimum 10 years’ experience in Heavy Engineering, Total Quality Management, ISO Standards (Internal Auditor) and Lean Manufacturing principles.
