Responsibilities Follows standardised processes and provides administrative support in line with normal business functioning. Delivers on daily production standards and adheres to service and quality standards. Provides an indirect service to customers and intermediates. Responds to immediate requirements within procedure. Uses standard administrative techniques to co-ordinate own work. Product and process knowledge in different areas may differ but basic skills remain the same. Moderate (intermediate) to high level of technical knowledge. Partially multi-skilled across product and process relevant to the business area. Performs simple clerical duties by applying office procedures including answering calls, managing basic financial transactions and recording, typing or word processing, filing, and other ad‑hoc activities to increase efficiency. Produce, update, and provide best practice support on Microsoft documents, databases, and other departmental systems. Purchases materials, enters budgetary information and records time and expenses. Creates, organises, and maintains files containing correspondence and records. Prepares routine letters, memoranda, reports and similar documents following detailed instruction. Organises own work schedule, coordinates with support services, and assigns short‑term tasks to others if necessary. Carrys out operational tasks by following established processes, adjusting settings or parameters to meet performance standards. Supports internal client relationships. Develops a working knowledge of the organisation’s policies and procedures and of regulatory codes relevant to own work, ensuring mandatory procedures are followed. Extracts relevant data from information provided by others and inputs it into spreadsheets or standard formats. Participates in assessment and development planning activities, formal and informal training and coaching to develop and maintain technical skills.
