Job title: Senior Accountant Location: George Salary: Market-related Job Duties: Manage full accounting function, including general ledger, journals, and reconciliations Prepare monthly management accounts and financial statements Oversee accounts payable, accounts receivable, and cash flow management Ensure compliance with accounting standards and statutory requirements Prepare and review budgets, forecasts, and variance analyses Coordinate audits and liaise with auditors, SARS, and external stakeholders Review VAT, PAYE, and other statutory submissions Provide financial guidance to management and support strategic decision-making Supervise and mentor junior accounting staff Maintain and improve financial controls and processes Requirements: Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or similar Professional qualification (SAIPA / SAICA / CIMA) – advantageous 5+ years’ accounting experience in a senior or supervisory role Strong knowledge of South African tax and accounting legislation Experience with accounting software (e.g. Sage, Pastel, Xero) Proven experience preparing financial statements and management reports By submitting your information and application you hereby confirm: 1.
