A well‑established retail company is seeking an experienced HR / Payroll Specialist to join its dynamic team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing payroll processes, supporting HR operations, and ensuring compliance with labour legislation and company policies. Key Responsibilities Process monthly and weekly payroll accurately and on time Maintain employee records and payroll data Handle leave administration, overtime, deductions, and employee benefits Strong knowledge of relevant labour legislation and payroll regulations (e.g., tax, UIF, PAYE, EEA / SETA) Assist with recruitment, onboarding, and HR administration Prepare payroll reports and HR documentation Resolve payroll queries efficiently and professionally Support disciplinary, IR, and performance management processes Minimum Requirements Diploma or Degree in Human Resources, Payroll, or related field Minimum 2–5 years’ experience in HR and payroll administration Experience within the retail sector advantageous Proficient in payroll systems and MS Office Knowledge of South African labour legislation Strong attention to detail and confidentiality Excellent communication and organisational skills #J-18808-Ljbffr
