Job Summary What role will you play as a member of the Professional Oral Care team? As the Oral Care Consultant, you will be the primary influencer, convincing practicing dental professionals to make Colgate oral care products an integral part of their practice, ensuring that Colgate is the brand they personally use, use in their dental office, and actively recommend most often to their patients. This position is about achieving goals through strong professional relationships and rapport with dental practitioners (e.g., dentists, dental specialists, dental hygienists) and staff, as well as community health administrators and hospitals when relevant. You will manage the relationship between Colgate and dentists, responsible for building up and strengthening the scientific image of Colgate brands with practicing dental professionals and building trusting, long-term relationships with them. What you will do Develop a strong professional relationship and rapport with dental practitioners (e.g., dentists, dental specialists, dental hygienists) and staff, as well as community health administrators and hospitals when relevant. Develop in-depth knowledge of each dental office account. Develop and implement specific account contact strategies that align with Professional Plan guidelines. Classify, categorize, segment, and optimize the number of dental offices contacted in the assigned territory using the CRM C4C tool. Within the assigned territory influence dental practitioners and their staff to personally use, display and actively recommend Colgate products. Continuously review account lists and generate creative leads to increase account penetration directly. Execute detailing plans for driving increased product usage and recommendation. Implement planned marketing and promotional activities in the assigned territory when appropriate. Update all relevant CRM databases with account contact information, product detailing activity, sampling activity, brand usage and brand recommendation preference information, and feedback about Colgate. Responsible for maintaining accounts and contacts records in the CRM system to ensure data privacy compliance for all initiatives. Understand competitor product weaknesses and ethically convince and convert the account to Colgate technologies for better patient treatment outcomes. Act as a primary resource for in-depth knowledge of Colgate products in the assigned territory. Represent Colgate at dental conventions, fairs, and creatively develop and expand professional networking opportunities. Be the central contact for dental practitioners who require advice on the effective treatment therapies for caries, sensitivity, periodontitis, etc. Perform other duties as assigned. Comply with all policies and standards. Essential Functions Develop a strong professional relationship and rapport with dental practitioners (e.g., dentists, dental specialists, dental hygienists) and staff, as well as community health administrators and hospitals when relevant. Required Qualifications Bachelor’s Degree either in Business Administration, Marketing, Dentist/Oral Hygiene Qualification, or another similar field; an honors degree is preferred. Minimum 2 years of commercial experience with at least 1 year in Dental Professional or Pharmacy business.
