VACANCY: UNDERWRITER / CLAIMS CONSULTANT (FAIS COMPLIANT) Location: Hillcrest, KwaZulu-Natal A well-established insurance brokerage based in Hillcrest is seeking an experienced and professional Underwriter / Claims Consultant to join their team. Key Responsibilities: Manage and process short-term insurance claims from inception to settlement Liaise with clients, insurers, assessors, and service providers Provide underwriting support across personal and commercial lines Prepare quotations, policy amendments, renewals, and endorsements Ensure compliance with FAIS and all relevant industry regulations Deliver exceptional client service and maintain strong client relationships Assist clients with policy queries, claims updates, and risk-related advice Maintain accurate records and documentation on all client files Minimum Requirements: Fully FAIS Compliant Relevant insurance qualification advantageous Minimum 3 years' experience in underwriting and claims administration Strong knowledge of short-term insurance products and processes Experience working with insurance systems and insurer portals Excellent communication and client service skills Strong administrative and organisational abilities Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively What We're Looking For: ?
