Importer and distributor of tiles, ceramics, and float glass, serving wholesale, retail, and project-based customers across South Africa and neighbouring markets. We are seeking a Sales Supervisor to manage a sales team, monitor target completion rates, and handle complex internal cross‑department communication and external customer challenges. The role requires strong communication skills, open‑mind thinking, and the ability to identify the essence behind problems and take action to resolve them. Key Responsibilities Supervise, coach, and motivate a team of sales representatives to meet and exceed targets. Conduct regular performance reviews, ride‑along field visits, and coaching sessions through training, corrective action, or restructuring where required. Support key accounts and assist sales reps in closing strategic or high‑value deals. Track KPIs such as revenue, margins, conversion rates, customer retention, and activity levels. Monitor trends and competitor activity within South Africa. Ensure professional handling of customer issues, complaints, and after‑sales service. Assist management in developing and executing sales strategies, especially for float glass expansion. Prepare forecasts and team performance summaries, and report with PowerPoint and Excel. Sales Performance & Targets Set clear monthly and quarterly sales targets aligned with company objectives. Track key performance indicators and support the sales team in achieving them. Operational Coordination Work closely with logistics, finance, and operations to ensure smooth order processing and delivery. Maintain control and compliance with company policies. Preferred Qualifications 4–8 years of experience in sales management within the glass industry. Proven track record of achieving sales targets.
