Introduction ARE YOU OUR NEXT CLAIMS AUDITOR?City Logistics is looking for a Claims Auditor who will be responsible for auditing claims on a national basis and providing feedback and solutions to Management. Your core focus areas Collate, verify, and analyse floor reports and potential claim data. Review and assess branch records and administrative control systems for accuracy and compliance. Evaluate organizational risk related to potential claims. Identify operational failures and inefficiencies; recommend effective solutions. Ensure branch adherence to FIFO (First-In-First-Out) processes and standard operating procedures (SOPs). Prepare detailed audit reports, including SOP compliance assessments. Follow up on driver-related discrepancies, such as shorts or delivery issues. Inspect branch housekeeping standards and identify areas requiring improvement. Conduct branch-level audits on security measures and vehicle management. Investigate and analyse operational discrepancies, such as unlabelled items, unidentified parcels, and problem shipments. Perform comprehensive floor scans within branches and provide structured reports. Must be available for travel at short notice, including weekends and public holidays. Minimum requirements Matric. Degree or Diploma in Logistics / auditing advantageous. A minimum of 3-5 years’ working experience in logistics in an auditing or similar position. Reporting and effective communication.
