ELECTRICAL PROJECT ENGINEER - AUTOMATION & ROBOTICS Our client, an industrial automation and robotics company specializing in custom automation and system integration solutions, is seeking an Electrical Project Engineer! Location: Pretoria Salary: R40,000 - R50,000 CTC per month Working Hours: 8am - 5pm, Monday to Friday Essential Qualifications: NDip/BTech or BEng in Electrical or Mechatronic Engineering Valid driver's license and own transport Essential Experience: 3-5 years in electrical project or industrial automation environment Demonstrated experience in project scheduling, documentation, and drawing control Panel build and/or commissioning and FAT experience (preferred) Proven ability to manage and direct technical team on site Strong organizational skills; able to work under pressure and meet hard deadlines Advantageous Experience: FMCG / Food & Beverage sector project experience PLC, E&I or control systems exposure Eplan or electrical drafting software exposure International project delivery experience Key Responsibilities: Project Management: Develop and manage detailed project schedules aligned to client requirements Generate/review electrical design drawings; manage drawing revisions Manage documentation control Compile project databooks for quality inspections and FAT Team Leadership: Direct daily tasking and coordination of site execution team (technicians and apprentices) Liaise with multi-disciplinary teams, suppliers, and clients Ensure project milestones are met Procurement & Budget: Prepare procurement packages: scope, obtain quotes, approve orders Expedite material delivery Track project budgets Identify and manage scope changes and ECRs Reporting: Provide regular, structured project status updates to senior management Own project from kick-off through to FAT and final handover Computer Skills: MS Windows, MS Outlook, MS Excel, MS Project Proficient in Excel and Sage
