We seek a candidate with a completed BCom Honours and minimum completed CFA Level 2 with approximately 5 years relevant investment asset management experience. Preferred background is an Investment Analyst / Portfolio Analyst or similar technical candidate looking to add a relationship management aspect to their day. The candidate will need to live successfully in both worlds asset management and financial advisor relations. Asset Management The candidate must be comfortable with attending investment committee discussions, following portfolio decisions and understanding market and portfolio construction as well as asset allocation. They will also act as an operational support resource to the Senior Portfolio Strategist, enabling efficient delivery of solutions. Here you will provide analytical, research, and preparation support for complex portfolio design, client engagements, and bespoke solutioning. Client Relations The candidate must be comfortable speaking to advisors assisting them with portfolio moves, difficult client scenarios or complex investment questions solving where possible or bringing back to the investment team. You will be the key contact for questions on portfolio positioning, performance and strategy. You will also work with the investment and marketing teams to develop materials that help advisors communicate portfolio decisions to clients.
