STARTING DATE: ASAP REPORTING TO: Head of Department ABOUT THE JOB The Junior Industrial Engineer will support the design, optimisation, and implementation of facility layouts, material‑flow processes, and equipment installations for large distribution centres. This role ensures efficient project delivery by combining technical analysis with cross‑functional collaboration, driving operational excellence and sustainable improvement. Key Responsibilities Develop and optimize facility layouts and material‑flow processes for large distribution centres. Conduct capacity analyses, throughput studies, and equipment specifications. Collaborate with cross‑functional teams (design, procurement, installation) to ensure seamless project delivery. Prepare technical reports, cost estimates, and feasibility studies. Project management of industrial equipment installation. Manage and drive large scale procurement projects. Develop change management protocols for the customers during implementation phase. JOB REQUIREMENTS Must have 1-3 years' experience as industrial engineer. Proficiency with AutoCAD, SQL, Revit, or similar layout-design tools. Ability to communicate findings clearly to technical and non‑technical teams. Fluent in English and good understanding of Afrikaans. Nice to have Experience in large-scale distribution or warehouse optimisation. Proficient in Python. Positive energy and can do attitude Fanatical attention to detail. Passion for data, design, and continuous learning. Other South African citizen. Valid Driver's license and own reliable vehicle required.
