If you are passionate about supporting the growth of SMEs and building South Africa, you could be the right fit.As the Financial Manager, you will work closely with the executive team, gain broad exposure to the business and be accountable for the accounting function for the group and some key financial processes in servicing customers.The individual will report directly to the Commercial Director and will work closely with other members of the senior management team.Responsibilities;Manage the accounting function; Direct and lead the Finance Department teamEnsure IFRS complianceResponsible for monthly reporting, Annual Financial Statements of severalcompanies and the audit engagementExperience with, or possess a sound conceptual understanding of, the principlesinherent in a financing businessInsurance mattersBudgets Key Process management; Sign off process compliance activities Manage projects; Sculpt, Plan, Execute, and DebriefCoordinationManage project resources Prepare reports; Alert Management to exceptionsCash flow management & forecastsCompile reports and present to ExcoPrepare reports for Board meetings and funders Requirements Minimum of 10 years’ working experience (preferably with exposure to mid-sized companies including reporting to external stakeholders)Leadership experience in a financial roleWorking knowledge of IFRSProject managementGeneral Microsoft office toolsExcel – AdvancedExposure to ERP systems & Xero/Sage/QuickbooksFlexibility to adapt with business changesAnalytical mind, organized, precise and meticulousAbility to take initiative, learn quickly and strive for resultsExcellent communication skills (verbal and written) #J-18808-Ljbffr
