The big picture We are looking for an ambitious Statutory Accountant to join our team. In this role, you will support the financial and tax departments across various European countries and participate in audit processes and year-end closings. Responsibilities Manage/Review all STAT work in allocated portfolio Preparation of monthly tasks such as VAT, Intrastat report, Payroll, Balance sheet recons, SOX binders Analyze on a monthly basis the accounts to identify unusual or irregular transactions and make recommendations to resolve Provide guidance to other STAT accounting staff and assist with mentoring staff to meet all client deadlines Preparation of the year-end financial close activities such as US to local GAAP reconciliations, Local GAAP financial statements and meet all related deadlines Key figure for quarterly and year-end audits and main contact with the auditors for the preparation of the PBC list Preparation of Global tax packs and related activities Key figure for CIT returns preparation and main contact with external consultants for the preparation of annual CIT questionnaires Assist with ad-hoc accounting, tax and finance projects Requirements Bacherlor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or Economics Good MS Office Skills Advanced Excel Skills Fluency in English (Written and Verbal) Good knowledge of Accounting principles and taxation 2-3 years experience working on accounting and taxation Ability to organize large amounts of data Attention to detail Good communication skills with proactive, supportive and positive approach Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks Benefits Competitive salary package & benefits.
