A deep respect and care for our dairy cows are non-negotiable. Good communication and leadership skills, with the ability to work effectively with team members, supervisors, and other departments. Physically fit and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment, including early mornings, weekends, and public holidays as part of a rotating schedule. A strong desire to grow in the dairy industry, with a positive attitude and willingness to learn new skills and progress to higher management levels. The ability to be self-reflective and take full responsibility for his/her actions. RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO Manage a team of 13 staff members in and around the milking parlour including supervision of working hours, training, conflict management, and leave planning. Perform AI as part of the herds breeding program. Administer injections, treat sick animals, vaccinations, drips, and general health management including hoof care. Assist with births and calving, as well as aftercare of cows and calves. Maintain high standards of cleanliness and hygiene in the milking parlour.
