Senior Manager: Airtime Lending Product Responsibilities include: Lead the creation of the Airtime lending Product strategy in line with overarching business goals. Ensure effective implementation of the strategy by providing direction, structure, frameworks, models, plans, campaigns, and roadmaps. Cascade and communicate overall Strategy and Business Plan. Translate the overall strategy into operational initiatives and plans and drive execution. Define detailed portfolio development plans for various digital products and services. Develop a clear and actionable go-to-market strategy for the airtime lending Product, considering market dynamics, customer needs, and competitive landscape. Develop comprehensive operational plans to support effective implementation and delivery of the strategy and manage execution across the OPCOs. Identify and undertake segmentation of potential customer groups based on demographics, behaviour, and needs; create the market positioning for the airtime lending Product and develop its unique value proposition. Collaborate with OPCOs to set competitive pricing strategies that maximise profitability and adoption. Conduct surveys, interviews, and analyse market data to gain a deep understanding of customer pain points and preferences with OPCOs. Review internal usage data to generate insights and analytics on the airtime lending Product perception to support OPCOs. Monitor competitors' offerings and market trends to identify opportunities and threats. Refine Product positioning and Product strategy based on inputs and analytics and ensure that the Product's features align with customer needs and market demands. Stay informed about relevant regulatory requirements and ensure Product compliance. Work closely with cross‑functional teams to align efforts and ensure successful Product strategy delivery. Engage with Fintech Opco counterparts to receive local market insights, new Product requests, and to ensure all above is delivered in OPCO. Develop the CVM strategy, framework and plans and ensure implementation at OPCO level. Create Product plan timelines that outline key milestones and deadlines; allocate resources, including budget and personnel, required for the successful launch. Lead the identification and selection of technology and development resources required to deliver the Products. Qualifications 4‑year Business Science or Business Intelligence degree. Master’s in Business Administration or a relevant Master’s degree is advantageous. Formal certification in Digital Product Management, Product Owner, Agile Delivery, User Experience, campaign management, analytics, data management, or other relevant fields would be beneficial. Minimum of 7 years of experience in Telecom Industry, consulting, strategy, analytics, engineering, or related industry. At least 3–4 years’ experience in Commercial/Financial Portfolio Management within a scalable/large‑scale Telecom company. Or at least 3–4 years’ experience in Telecom Product Owner or Product Management role. Manager track record of 3–4 years or more. Experience in defining and project‑managing the technical and business implementation of Product strategies within a Telecom environment. Experience in B2C telecom Products with a broad range of Products offered. Experience in leveraging traditionally unconventional data and insights to deploy and optimise multi‑territory/multi‑Product strategies via mobile/telco channels. Deep understanding of the digital banking ecosystem, players, business models, and industry best practices. Experience in CVM campaigns, BI functions for Telecommunication. Worked across diverse cultures and geographies. Pan Africa multi‑cultural experience is advantageous. Entrepreneurial spirit, self‑driven and ability to motivate a fast‑paced team.
