Overview Our well known commercial dealer client based in Ekurhuleni currently holds a vacancy for a Manager: New Vehicle Sales in Light Commercial Vehicle Department (Bakkies). Reporting directly to the Dealer Principal, this position will be suited to a candidate that will be able to manage the sales in the truck sales department, incorporating all the dealership’s products and services. This will involve attracting and retaining a strong base of satisfied customers by ensuring that a well-motivated and dedicated sales team meets customer expectations, while meeting / exceeding the financial objectives of the dealership and its principals. Specific Role Responsibilities Maximizing sales and profitability through satisfaction and retention of customers to meet sales forecast. Developing the necessary sales organization to meet sales and profitability objectives. Skills and Personal Attributes Sales skills, knowledge and experience. Assertive and outstanding interpersonal skills. Ability to work under and be results orientated. Ability to delegate, follow-up with a strong sense of duty towards customers. Financial understanding of business. Excellent product knowledge. Computer literacy. Qualifications and Experience Matric and/or grade 12/NQF Level 4 equivalent qualification Min of 5 years sales manager experience in the Motor Industry (Trucks).
