The Graduate Internship Program aims to provide unemployed Chemical Engineering graduates with structured, meaningful workplace experience required within the Platinum Group Metals (PGM) industry. Interns will gain exposure to operational, technical, safety, and managerial aspects of engineering within a production environment, while contributing innovative ideas and supporting operational objectives across Implats operations. Responsibilities Successful completion of a set twenty-four (24) months internship training program that will enhance general knowledge of the PGM industry and overall exposure to technical, safety and managerial aspects of engineering within a production environment. Participate in all required training and development interventions. Compile and submit training reports in line with program requirements. Provide technical and engineering support to operational areas to assist in meeting business and production targets. Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives through innovative technical and business solutions. Qualifications A completed NQF Level 7 qualification in Chemical Engineering / Metallurgy. Sound knowledge and understanding of Chemical Engineering principles and or Metallurgical principles. Applicants must be currently unemployed and must not have previously participated in any graduate program.
