Spares Picker Packer Permanent, full-time position. Legal requirements: Must be a South African Citizen with a clean criminal background and a valid driver’s license. Checks will be performed on shortlisted applicants. Salary: R 7 845 (basic salary, not negotiable). Benefits: Provident Fund and December bonus. Working hours: Monday – Friday 08:00‑17:00; Saturday 08:00‑13:00. Responsibilities Criminal background check and license verification will be performed. Identify, retrieve, and package technical components or automotive parts with precision and attention to detail, as many spare parts look similar but have distinct technical specifications. Order picking: Accurately locate and pull spare parts from storage bins using pick slips or handheld scanners. Part verification: Confirm part numbers, serial numbers, and quantities against orders to ensure technical compatibility. Quality control: Inspect parts for damage, rust, or defects before they are prepared for dispatch. Secure packaging: Wrap and pack components—ranging from fragile electronics to heavy mechanical gears—using appropriate materials to prevent transit damage. Labelling: Apply accurate shipping labels, “Fragile” stickers, and technical documentation to outgoing parcels. Stock maintenance: Help with bin replenishment and ensure that returned parts are correctly processed back into inventory.
